The agricultural production is financially extremely critical nowadays. The climate is changing relentlessly: precipitation and temperature are unpredictable. Costs and input materials are continuously increasing. Agricultural experts must protect crops from the phytotoxic effects of herbicides while simultaneously reducing production costs.
WHO ARE WE?
WeedEye is a Hungarian agtech startup specializing in innovative, real-time spot-spraying technology for agricultural applications. Our team consists of mechatronics engineers, agricultural experts and material science and manufacturing engineers.
Our solution uses advanced cameras and processing units to detect and selectively spray weeds, reducing herbicide use by up to 90% and improving crop health. Designed to address the challenges of rising input costs, stricter environmental regulations, and climate change, WeedEye offers a cost-effective, sustainable, and easy-to-use system for farmers. With a focus on scalability and real-world impact, our mission is to bring cutting-edge technology to the global agricultural sector.
WHAT DO WE DO?
Our activities encompass three areas: agricultural operations, including cultivation on approximately 2,500 hectares, machinery manufacturing with a focus on image processing, featuring in-house development and production.

TESTED IN REAL CONDITIONS
The system was tested in different fields at different phenological stages of the crops with weed infections from poorly infected spots to heavily infected spots as well. Measured using water sensitive papers. Real field tests with chemicals have been conducted too.
